1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using resumica, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Service Description
resumica is a professional resume builder application that helps users create, customize, and export professional resumes. Our service includes AI-powered content suggestions, multiple templates, and various export options.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- You are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of your resume information
4. Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- You manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings, not inside the app (the app can link you there)
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their store policies
- Premium features are only available to active subscribers
- A Pro subscription raises your AI usage allowances but does not make AI processing unlimited: AI optimizations and live AI feedback have daily fair-use limits (see Section 5), and resume imports, while not subject to a monthly quota for subscribers, remain subject to anti-abuse rate limits
5. AI Assistance
- AI features are optional tools that help draft, rewrite, import, analyze, or score resume content. You can continue editing manually instead.
- AI suggestions and Resume Scores may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether to use any output before applying for a role.
- AI features are metered. Free accounts currently include 3 AI optimizations and 5 live AI feedback checks per day, plus 25 resume imports per month. Pro subscriptions currently include up to 40 AI optimizations and 60 live AI feedback checks per day as fair-use limits, and resume imports with no monthly quota, subject to anti-abuse rate limits.
- Your current limits and remaining usage are shown in the app (Settings > Your AI usage, and the upgrade screen). We may adjust these limits over time to keep the service reliable and prevent abuse; the values shown in the app apply.
- Resumica is not an employer, recruiter, hiring platform, legal adviser, or career adviser. The app does not make hiring, eligibility, ranking, or screening decisions about you.
- Do not enter sensitive personal information into AI features unless you choose to do so after reading our Privacy Policy.
6. Content Ownership
- You retain full ownership of all content you create
- resumica does not claim ownership of your personal information or resume content
- We may use de-identified, aggregated usage data to improve our services
- You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the features you request (such as AI assistance)
7. Privacy and Data Protection
- We collect and process your data as described in our Privacy Policy
- Data in transit is encrypted with TLS, and your data is stored in the app's protected storage on your device; we apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards
- We do not sell or rent your personal information; we share it only with the service providers and processors listed in our Privacy Policy (such as Firebase, RevenueCat, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google) to operate the app
- You can export or request deletion of your data at any time (Settings > Account)
8. Prohibited Uses
- Using the service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
- Violating any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
- Infringing upon or violating our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
- Harassing, abusing, insulting, harming, defaming, slandering, disparaging, intimidating, or discriminating
- Submitting or uploading false or misleading information
9. EU/UK Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights, including legal guarantees that apply to digital content or digital services. Payments, subscription cancellation, and store refunds are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Those store processes do not limit any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, resumica is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the application. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
